Bonaire Xtreme Duo MTB

Following the movement of Xtreme Duo mountain bike races in Aruba and Curacao, Bonaire Wellness Connexions has decided to organise a similar race to be held on Bonaire on Sunday October 24, 2010 at 7am.

BWC invites riders from the neighbour islands, Venezuela, the USA and the Netherlands to participate in this challenging race. The race course is 75km long and includes most single-tracks located in the north-east part of Bonaire.

During the race, riders will follow some paved roads which will be carefully watched by volunteers; they will control the traffic and will make riders feel safe. Single-tracks and safe dirt roads cover about 90% of the total race course. The route includes our Washington National Park, the east coast, Lagoen and Bolivia and Seru Largu.  Some of the single-tracks are covered by coral stones which makes the surface quite instable and bumpy.

We kindly ask participants to register in advance in order for us to get transfers and accommodations organised in time. All participants coming from outside Bonaire will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel. More detailed information (race rules, accommodations, etc) coming soon!!!
